The dollar amounts above are for trading in 1000 share lots...the total for 2001 is $169,570. We assume that entry and exits are not perfect, plus there is commission costs. Therefore, we subtract 15% for slippage and commissions which brings the profit total for the year to $144,134. That is just over 144 points of profit...for 2001.
